Holiday Mini Sessions ~ 2013

'Tis the season!  Time to get your family booked for Holiday photos and cards!

MINI SESSIONS
The mini sessions will give you a 20 minute time slot.  Typically you get 10-15 proofs in an online gallery for viewing.  We will do as many poses as we can fit in during your time slot.  :o)  There will be 2 mini-session packages to choose from and both packages include a formatted upload to Tiny Prints for your Holiday card.  I am a partner with Tiny Prints and highly recommend them.  I will always let you know when they are running specials throughout the holiday season.

Package 1 - $100.  This includes the session fee, online proofing gallery and 1 digital file* for you to print and share.  10% off any additional products purchased through me.

Package 2 - $175.  This includes the session fee, online proofing gallery and 10 digital files* for you to print and share.  20% off any additional products purchased through me.

*Digital files are full resolution, copyright released, edited files (pictures) as proofed.  Any changes will be $5/each.


FULL LENGTH REGULAR SESSION - 2 dates only!
The regular reduced session fee will be a 45 minute time slot for $75.  This should give you about 20 proofs in an online gallery for viewing only.  These will be scheduled on two dates and include up to 5 uploads to Tiny Prints for your Holiday cards.  Digital files can be purchased individually for $35/each or in groups of 5 for $100.  All other products will be 25% off regular pricing.

There is still time to get your Christmas Cards!

Still need Christmas cards that don't stink?

There's still time if you order from Tiny Prints by tomorrow. That is the absolute last day to use their Super Rush shipping and guarantee delivery by Christmas Day.

2. Once you have chosen that special card, upload pictures (or ask me to upload a picture or pictures for you!), write your own text, and design a little piece of awesome to send out this year. ;)
3. Review your card. Make sure everything is right. Trust me on this one.

5. By Friday you should receive your cards. Spend the weekend addressing, writing notes, and stamping them.

INTRODUCING ... Inspiring & Aspiring Young Photographers Class!

Do you have a daughter, son or a friend who is good with his or her camera?  A friend who takes amazing pictures?  Does your daughter get 120 likes on every picture she posts on instagram?  Is there someone who you think has the "eye?"  Do you know someone who wants to learn how to take better pictures while learning a little about what the photography business entails?  Then this class is for them!

I will be offering 2 sessions of the Insipring and Aspiring Young Photographers class.  The first will be held this fall and the second will be held after the Holidays.  If you are planning on purchasing a camera for your child, have a child who is interested in photography and either takes or wants to learn how to take awesome pictures or just want you, a friend or your child to learn a little about photography, this might be the perfect gift to go along with it!

During this three hour class we will discuss the following:

• What goes into setting up and running a [*successful*] photography business.
• Basic camera functions and how to work your camera.
• How to set up a shot and compose a nice picture.
• How to edit a picture.

During the class we will be photographing and editing a couple pictures so it is recommend that you bring a camera.  If you don't have a fancy DSLR, no worries!  Bring your point and shoot - or even your phone!  Even phone shots can be cool - and you don't need instagram to make it nice!

We will also be editing a picture so if you have a lap top with an editing program, go ahead and bring that, too.  If not, no worries, we will be able to work off one computer.

This class is designed for teens and young adults ages 12-22.  Anyone interested in learning more about photography and taking an awesome picture is welcome.  You will not leave the class a photographer, but you will be well on your way to impressing your friends with your new photog skills and you will have a general idea as to whether or not a photography business is right for you!

It's that time of year again already!  Time to start thinking about your Fall Family Photos and your Holiday cards.  I will be shooting in 3 locations for my mini sessions this year -- Sims Lake Park for that classic look, and downtown Buford and downtown Flowery Branch for a more urban look.  I am excited about the specials you will have to choose from this year.  Of course, if these dates do not work or you want a full session, I am happy to work with you!  I have a reduced sitting fee special for this situation!

All mini sessions will require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the special cost to hold your spot.

$50 sitting fee includes a full session which normally lasts about 45 minutes.  You can bring a change of clothes or accessories or whatever you like!  Have a location in mind?  This is the special for you!  All print and digital orders will be 20% off!  The $50 sitting fee includes the time and talent of the photographer only and needs to be paid to reserve your spot.  This sitting fee is non-refundable but we will reschedule in the event of rain!  :o)

Oh boyyyy ..... only a few more days until "Small Business Saturday"and I can't wait to share this special with you so I am going to offer it between now and Sunday ......

If you don't like those, no biggie... feel free to scroll down, choose 'holiday cards' and select one that YOU like ....

NOW .... here is the special I am offering through Sunday (11/27/11) only:

If you are a past client during this calendar year, I will upload a picture from your session (that you choose) to Tiny Prints for free to use on your holiday card. To take advantage of this, go to my Tiny Prints home page and click 'request photo' on the right. Then let me know which picture you would like to use and I will upload it to Tiny Prints for you. When the picture is uploaded, you will be sent a passkey to access your picture - you will then redeem it by going back to my Tiny Prints page and clicking redeem photo. (There are detailed instructions on the site and it is VERY easy!)

Now, local or out of town fans and friends, don't fret! Here is where you come in ... If you are NOT a client but want to use Tiny Prints for your cards and want me to "cuten" up a picture that you or another friend took (to use on Tiny Prints only), e-mail me the picture in full resolution or actual size to tami@little-imaginations.com. I will then do the best I can to cuten it up for you and upload it to my Tiny Prints page. You will then be sent a passkey to redeem your photo and use on your cards.

Remember, this is a Small Business Saturday (and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday ... LOL) special only and will only be valid from TODAY through Sunday, November 27th! Don't send out yucky looking Holiday Cards this year!!! :o) Together we can brighten up the holiday season!

30 Day Challenge Day 7 ~ Tooty Fruity!! {Suwanee, GA Child & Family Photographer}

Fun challenge - could have been boring but I encouraged you all to think outside of the box and you pulled through!! For me .... well ..... day 7 was a Wednesday and my dear friend from college, Shannon, has declared any Wednesday as "Winey Wednesday" so I thought about how to incorporate that with my fruit challenge and .... let's be honest here ... wine is made from grapes so technically wine is a fruit - and, BONUS! Good for you, too? I think yes!

So here is the fruit I ate that day ....

(OK, so before my parents have a heart attack, I actually opened and drank a Liberty School Cab, not this pictured, really expensive, "Tami-do-not-drink-this-unless-you-share-it-with-someone-who-appreciates-wine" bottle my parents gave us for our anniversary. But I digress.)

Then, my friends pulled through with their own version of fruit!! I love all of these!
